Shooting Stars & Sunset & picnic
The Perseid Meteor Showers return every year, in August, and can be very spectacular.
Let’s meet to observe this nature show on Thursday12th, from the top of the Salève.
We will go earlier to have a picnic, watch the sunset and then wait the time to observe them. ( It will be visible from 22h10 until midnight )

Easy cultural walk & BBQ
This weekend is supposed to have good weather, so we will go for an easy cultural walk, followed by a BBQ!

From Genolier we will walk up to Arzier, pass through the medieval ruins of Oujon. We visit the remains of the monastery of Notre-Dame d’Oujon and continue to St Cergue, where will have fondue and drinks.

An easy classic walk in the region. From Col de la Faucille (above Gex), we go first to the Grand MontRond, then return to the Petit MontRond. Return is either walking on the ski slopes, or by the ski lift.

This is a wild and wonderful natural landscape just a few steps from the Old Town of Montreux. The river “La Baye de Montreux” flows in this gorge from the foot of the Rochers-de-Naye into Lake Geneva.
