A shaded path winds along spectacular gorges in a wild natural setting. An exotic hike a few steps away from Montreux city centre.
This is a wild and wonderful natural landscape just a few steps from the Old Town of Montreux. The river “La Baye de Montreux” flows in this gorge from the foot of the Rochers-de-Naye into Lake Geneva.
Walk from the Montreux Railway Station till the “Sentier de la gorge du Chauderon”. Then walk in the gorge up to the point where the trails branch off. Take the trail above the gorge leading to Glion.
We are going in 2 groups of 8 peoples each :
35- 48 years old
49- 60 years old
Transport: CAR SHARING – 3 peoples by car (the driver could ask to wear the mask )
Meeting point : at 9h30 at Place des Nations in front of the Parking des Nations. Arrive in Montreux around 10h45. Hike starts @11h00
Return: We plan to come back around 14h47 from Les Avants to Montreux and get the car back to Geneva

To bring: mask, decent boots, hat, snacks/picnic, 1.5 litre water, rain gear, sunscreen, hiking poles if you like.
In case of rain: The hike will be cancelled in case of bad weather.

By registering, you confirm that you carry insurance against accidents and we recommend also mountain rescue, in particular helicopter rescue operations. Check with your employer to see if you are properly insured.
